Grab a sausage at Würstelstube. Marianne serves some of the best in Bavaria. Look for the epic picture of a monkey in traditional Bavarian costume eating Schweinebraten while you eat.

Walk to the Kreuztor. Built in 1385, it is the best preserved part of the old city wall and a major landmark. Most of the time it is closed, so you will view it from the outside.

Head to Das Mo for a drink. This beer garden and pub is a meeting place for local students and young folks. In summer you can get traditional beer garden dishes, and in winter a decent mix of cuisine.
Local tip
Würstelstube closes at 18:00, so arrive before then. Das Mo is open from 09:30, so allow time to get there after your sausage.
