Timeline

Grab a hot tea or coffee at the Tee Hütt'n. It is a cozy bar for hikers and skiers, perfect for warming up before the walk. Note that it is closed in summer, so this plan only works from December through spring.
15:36
Walk up to the Alpengasthof Heiligwasser. It is only a minute from the landmark. Even if you do not eat here, the fantastic view makes it worth a quick stop to orient yourself.
15:51
Head to the Kurpark. It is a 31-minute walk from the anchor in the NW direction. Arrive here as the golden light begins to fade, finding a quiet spot in the park to watch the sun set toward the WSW.
16:21
End the evening at Agidihof. This traditional Austrian Landgasthaus is a 7-minute walk from the Kurpark. Order local cuisine, try the home-made noodles or Knödeln, and enjoy the indoor or outdoor seating while the day winds down.
Local tip
Check the route for the Patscherkofelbahn if you need to get to the Heiligwasser area. The walk between steps is short and manageable in the cold.
