Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center
Start at the Hot Springs National Park Visitor Center. The museum in the former Fordyce Bathhouse is open and less crowded early in the morning. Use this time to orient yourself with the self-guided tour of the elegant mosaic tiles and history.

Walk two minutes to Superior Bathhouse Brewery. It opens at 11:00 on Mondays, Tuesdays, Sundays, and Mondays. Since we are planning for a daytime start, this stop is best enjoyed after the main activity or on a weekend. For a weekday morning plan, skip this and head straight to lunch, or visit on a Saturday/Sunday when it opens at 11:00. Assuming a weekend start for optimal brewery access, grab a local brew here.

Walk six minutes to Maxine's for a drink or a light bite. The atmosphere is great inside the historic building. Note that it opens at 14:00 on Saturdays and 12:00 on Sundays, so this fits a relaxed afternoon pace if you started early.

End your walk at Rolando's Nuevo Latino Restaurante, a 14-minute walk from the Visitor Center area. Enjoy great Latin cuisine and sit in the outdoor seating area while the afternoon light hits the historic district.
