Timeline

  1. 10:00

    Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum

Arrive at the Hong Kong Correctional Services Museum as it opens. Spend the first hour exploring the renovated galleries, the mock gallows, and the prisoner-made artifacts in the annex. The early slot ensures you have the space to yourself before the midday crowds arrive.

  2. 11:15

    St Stephens Beach

Walk five minutes to St Stephens Beach. It is much quieter and more secluded than the main beach, offering a peaceful moment to stretch your legs and watch the water. The beach includes changing rooms and showers if you wish to freshen up.

  3. 11:45

    The Smugglers Inn

Head to The Smugglers Inn for lunch or a drink. Located on the sea front along the Stanley promenade, this British-style pub serves traditional pub food and offers a great view of the ocean. It is open from 10:00, so it will be ready for you.

  4. 12:45

    Stanley Market

End your morning with a browse at Stanley Market. Haggling is expected here as you look for souvenirs, ornaments, and artwork. The market is open until 18:30, giving you plenty of time to find a unique keepsake before you head home.
