Timeline

  1. 17:00

Hong Kong Museum of Medical Sciences

Start with the museum. The late afternoon sun casts long shadows through the courtyard, highlighting the historic architecture before the crowds arrive. It is a quiet, reflective start to the evening.

  2. 17:30

    King George V Memorial Park

Walk 8 minutes WNW to King George V Memorial Park. This is a quiet urban oasis with a basketball court and green space, perfect for a brief pause as the day cools down.

  3. 17:50

    Yung Kee Restaurant

Head to Yung Kee Restaurant (13 min walk from the anchor, but accessible from the park area via local streets). Arrive just before the dinner rush to secure a table for their famous Cantonese roast goose. The restaurant is open until 23:30, so you have plenty of time.

  4. 18:45

    65 Peel

After dinner, walk 7 minutes to 65 Peel. This bar captures the local aesthetic with cocktails and locally brewed beers. It is open from 16:00, so it will be lively by the time you arrive.

Local tip

Yung Kee is popular and can run out of geese. Arriving early or making a reservation is wise. The walk between the museum and the park is short and straightforward, but check local signage for the most direct route to Yung Kee.
