Take a 10-minute walk to New Town Plaza. This is a good spot for lunch or a snack. The complex is huge and sells mid-range goods of all types, though it will be crowded on weekends.

Spend the rest of the time browsing the shops in New Town Plaza or finding a seat to rest after the museum walk.
Local tip
The museum is closed on Tuesdays and the first two days of Chinese New Year. Check the route if you need to get from the MTR station to the museum.
