Walk 18 minutes northeast to see Bokspringende jongens. This bronze sculpture of two leaping boys is a striking piece of public art located just a short distance from the main estate buildings. It is a nice contrast to the serious architecture of the sanatorium.

Head to Doppio Espresso for coffee and breakfast. The sun is fully up by now, and the light is perfect for people-watching. This stylish coffee house opens at 08:00 on weekdays and 09:00 on Sundays, making it the first place ready to serve you after the early start. The cappuccino and latte macchiato are worth the stop.
