Start with a coffee and a pastry at Dudok. The interior matches the famous architect’s style, and the daytime music is a calm mix of Chopin, Vivaldi, and jazz. It is a quiet place to settle in before the evening rush.

    Hilversum Town Hall

Walk to Hilversum Town Hall. The wide international fame of this building comes from its remarkable shape and the specifically designed yellow bricks. Arrive now to see the facade bathed in the warm, low-angle light before it fades.

    Las Tapas

Head to Las Tapas for dinner. This Spanish restaurant is very popular, so you might find a queue forming. The menu is in Dutch, but the staff will gladly help you order. Try the garlic prawns or the sautéed mushrooms.

    De BarBier

End the night at De BarBier. Tucked away in a small building between shops, this bar is for true beer lovers with more than 100 options. Ask the staff for recommendations on the obscure brews.
