Grab a coffee at the outdoor terrace of Sinisen huvilan kahvila. The views over the Töölönlahti bay are best in the late afternoon light, and this spot gives you a front-row seat to the sky changing colors. The café is open until 22:00 in summertime, so you have plenty of time.
22:19
Walk down to Brahenkenttä. This open sports pitch in northern Kallio offers a wide, unobstructed view of the horizon to the west. It is the perfect spot to catch the final moments of the sun before it sets toward the NW.
22:49
Head back up the hill to Lepakkomies. This large two-floor establishment in Kallio is open from 12:00 to 02:00, making it an ideal place to wind down after the sunset. The ground floor functions as a typical Kallio pub, while the basement hosts club nights if the energy is still high.
Local tip
The walk between the café and the pitch is short, but the hill back up to Lepakkomies requires a bit of effort. Bring a light layer as the temperature drops quickly after sunset in July.
