Timeline
21:44
Grab a coffee at Antin Kaffeliiteri. It is just a two-minute walk from the museum entrance and open until 17:00 in summer, giving you plenty of time before the evening crowds arrive.
22:09
Walk up the hill to the summer café/restaurant at the center of Seurasaari. Find a seat with a view facing west. The museum is open 24/7, so you can enter anytime, but the café offers the best vantage point for the light.
22:29
Watch the sunset. On 15 July, the sun sets at 22:29 toward the NW. From the hilltop café, you can enjoy the golden light fading over the historic Finnish houses and the surrounding forest.
Local tip
The museum grounds are large. Allow time to walk up the hill to the central café if you start from the main entrance. The view is worth the short climb.
