Timeline
21:29
Grab a coffee at the outdoor terrace of Sinisen huvilan kahvila. The views over Töölönlahti bay are clear and calm before the evening rush.
21:59
Walk into Linnanmäki. The park is free to enter, so you can wander the grounds and find a quiet bench or railing near the edge to watch the sky change. The wooden roller coaster stands out against the fading light.
22:29
Watch the sun set toward the NW. The golden light from 21:15 has just faded, leaving a soft blue twilight over the bay and the park structures.
23:14
End the night at Bar Molotow. It is a small, cosy indie bar with a summer terrace that stays open until 02:00, perfect for staying out while the city winds down.
Local tip
Linnanmäki is only open during the summer, so this plan works best between May and August. The walk from the café to the park is short, but the park is large, so allow time to find your viewing spot.
