Timeline

  1. 08:00

    Stainless Steel Pagoda

Arrive at the Stainless Steel Pagoda on Kho Hong Hill as it opens. The site is open from 08:00 to 17:00 daily. Going early ensures you have the place to yourself to appreciate the unique stainless steel structure built for King Bhumibol Adulyadej's 60th year on the throne before the midday rush.

  2. 08:45

    Upstairs

Walk down from the pagoda area to Upstairs, a café located near Wat Saen Lan. This spot is open from 06:30 to 21:00, so it is ready for your morning break. Grab a drink or a light snack to recharge after your climb.

  3. 09:15

    Stainless Steel Pagoda

Return to the Stainless Steel Pagoda for a second look or to explore the surrounding grounds with fresh energy. Since you started early, the light is soft and the atmosphere is calm, making it the perfect time for photos or quiet reflection.

Local tip

The hill can get busy later in the day. Starting at 08:00 gives you the best chance for a peaceful visit. Remember that the market at Talat Kaset M.U. only opens on Mon, Wed, and Fri from 15:00, so it is not an option for this morning plan.
