Wait at the statue as the golden light begins to fade. The sun sets toward the WSW, aligning perfectly behind the Ferris Wheel from this vantage point. Check the sky for the final burst of color.

Head to the base of the Harbin Ferris Wheel. The 110-metre structure is best appreciated up close after the sun dips behind it. Walk west from your viewing spot to stand directly beneath the gondolas.
