    A very modern zoo, supposed to be one of the best in Europe. About 2,000 animals from all over the world live in six impressive zoo worlds. The ticket is pricey but should is worth it for a whole day's fun. Day tickets cost €29.20 for adults, for children 3–16 years: €19.20 and "young adults" 17-24 yr: €22.70.     Neues Rathaus

    See the models of Hanover at four different points in history: 1689, 1939, 1945, and the present, and then take a sloped elevator (€5 adults, €4 children) to the dome for a beautiful view of the city.

    Lister Turm Biergarten

    Surrounded by trees this is one of the largest beer gardens in Hanover. With the Lister building, in the backdrop as well as all the trees, makes this an idyllic drinking spot.
