Timeline

  1. 09:00

    Twins

Walk to the Twins sculpture in the WNW direction. Arrive early to see the bronze figures against the morning sky without the midday crowds. The description notes they were created for a specific art competition, giving them a quiet, contemplative presence.

  2. 09:40

    Markthalle

Head to Markthalle for a snack or light lunch. This food court offers a variety of stalls, from Spanish tapas to local Mett. It opens at 07:00, so by 10:00 it is fully active but not yet the evening rush. Check the Mo-We hours if you are visiting on a Wednesday.

  3. 10:40

    Die Begegnung

End your walk at Die Begegnung. These two extremely narrow bronze figures stand as a quiet testament to the region's history. Having started with the Twins, this second public art piece offers a complementary perspective on Hanover's sculptural landscape.
