    Herbertstraße

Walk to Herbertstraße. It is only a three-minute stroll from Zur Ritze in a SSW direction. This short, gated street is the epicenter of the red-light district. Note that it is adults only and photography is strictly banned, so just take in the intense energy of the neon lights against the darkening sky.

    Wild West Reeperbahn

Watch the sunset at Wild West Reeperbahn. Climb up to this pub’s terrace or window for a clear view. The sun sets toward the WSW, aligning with the street’s orientation. At 18:23 on October 15th, the golden hour light will wash over the district, offering a rare moment of calm before the clubs fully ignite.

    Reeperbahn Comedy Club

End the night at Reeperbahn Comedy Club. Located a four-minute walk ENE from your sunset spot, this is a great place to unwind with a laugh after the dramatic light show. It’s a central hub of the entertainment district, keeping you in the heart of the Kiez vibe.

Local tip

Herbertstraße is closed off by gates from both ends and is strictly for adults. Keep your camera away. The Reeperbahn is a major nightlife center, so expect crowds as the sun goes down.
