Timeline
10:00
Enter the Kunsthalle while it is quiet. The Baroque building on the left holds the older works, while the modern building houses the more contemporary pieces. Take your time in the paved court between them.
11:00
Walk to Cafe Gnosa for a break. Their cake buffet is famous, and the atmosphere is a relaxed mix of people of all ages. It is a great spot for a self-made pastry or a light lunch.
12:00
Head to the Europa Passage, the most frequented shopping complex in downtown Hamburg. It is a good place to browse if you want to see the local retail scene without the noise of the main streets.
Local tip
