Walk up to Kasayama to catch the golden light as the sun begins to set toward the west.

Stand at the summit and watch the sun sink toward the WSW horizon. The panoramic views of the Sea of Japan are at their best in this fading light.

Head down to Shizuki Park and eat dinner at Grill Restaurant Kenran. Order the local Kenran Beef, available as steak or yakiniku. Note that lunch is by reservation only, so this is a dinner spot.
Local tip
The restaurant is located in the same complex as Midoriya Honten, which sells meat to take home. Make sure to arrive before they close at 22:00.
