    John Oxley Monument

    Drive 43 km south-west of Gunnedah via Oxley Highway westbound. At Mullaley turn left/south onto Black Stump Way. The John Oxley Monument is on the right, off the road. Arrive with enough time to park and set up your view. Note the plaque may be missing.

  2. 17:40

    John Oxley Monument

    Watch the sun set toward the W. The golden light starts around 17:07, building to the sunset at 17:40. This is the main event.

  3. 18:10

    John Oxley Monument

    Head back toward Gunnedah for dinner and a drink after dark.
