Timeline
09:00
Take Q-Link 11 to P+R Reitdiep and walk to the waterside. Admire the Scandinavian-style terraced houses in their full daylight glory.
09:45
Head to the Martini area for lunch. Wadapartja serves local dishes with a regional character. It is open from 09:00 on weekdays, so you can arrive right as it opens to avoid the midday rush.
10:30
Walk five minutes to the Martini Tower. Climb d'Olle Grieze for a view over the city grid. Locals call it 'the old grey one'.
11:00
End your trip at De Kleine Moghul. This small Indian restaurant is just a short walk from the tower. Note that the restaurant officially opens at 17:00, so this step works best if you are extending your visit into the early evening or have already eaten earlier. If you prefer a daytime close, swap this for a coffee at De Pintelier nearby.
Local tip
The walk from the colorful houses to the center is long. Use the Q-Link 11 bus or public transport to get from Reitdiep to the Martini area efficiently.
