Find a high vantage point among the ruins. Face west toward the WSW. The golden light starts at 17:03 and builds until the sun sets at 17:45. The sky will turn deep orange and purple behind the stone walls.

Stay a moment after the sun has gone. The air cools quickly in the evening. Check the route to find a place to eat or drink nearby as there are no food or drink options listed at the castle itself.
