Start at The Ben Nevis for a whisky. It is a snug, friendly place with a huge selection of spirits. The pub opens at 12:00 so it will be open well before the afternoon.

Walk 48 minutes to Bellahouston Park. This is the viewing spot. The sun sets toward the SW around 16:15. The park is large and often hosts open-air concerts, so it offers plenty of space to find a quiet spot to watch the light fade.
17:00
Head to Mother India for dinner. It is the original branch of the chain and offers top-class quality. It is open until 21:30, giving you plenty of time to eat after the sunset.
Local tip
Bellahouston Park is quite far from the anchor (48 minutes walk). Plan your route carefully. The Ben Nevis is close to the anchor if you need to return there later.
