Timeline
15:30
Grab a bite at Suissi Vegan Kitchen. It is an Asian restaurant near the landmark, open until 22:00 on weekdays and 22:30 on weekends. This fits perfectly before the late winter sunset.
16:00
Walk to the Fairfield Heritage Centre. The building was built in 1891 to impress as the headquarters of a leading shipbuilding company. It now serves as a museum of Clyde shipbuilding.
16:15
Stand outside the centre and watch the sun set toward the SW. The light fades over the river where the ships once launched.
16:35
End the evening back at Suissi Vegan Kitchen for a late dinner or drink.
Local tip
The centre is free to enter. Check opening hours before you go: it is open daily 11AM-4PM in summer, but only Mon-Fri 1PM-4PM in winter.
