Gimcheon Plum Picking Experience
Head to the Gimcheon Plum Picking Experience. By mid-morning, the orchards in Guseong-myeon are active. You can join a guided picking session, taste fresh plums, and perhaps try a plum-clay craft. Remember to bring your reservation details.

End the day at Gyeongseong Brewery. After a morning of walking and picking, unwind with an ice-cold beer and some casual pub food like fried shrimp or sausages. The retro decor and clean interior provide a comfortable setting to reflect on the morning’s light and the day’s harvest.
Local tip
The plum picking farms require reservation. Check the route from Gimcheon Station to Guseong-myeon in advance, as public transport may be limited early in the morning.
Check before you go
- Gimcheon Plum Picking Experience is by reservation only and operates during the harvest season (June ~ July).
- Red Bean Cafe opens at 10:00. Plan your sunrise viewing to finish by then.
- Gyeongseong Brewery is open from 16:00. This step is placed late in the sequence to align with evening opening hours, but if you prefer a daytime end, swap this step for a visit to Jungang Market (08:00–20:00) after the cafe.
