Timeline

  1. 16:45

    Da Paolo

Stop at Da Paolo for a quick bite or a coffee. The pizza place is open late, so you have plenty of time before the sun goes down.

  2. 16:58

    Parc de la Grange

Walk six minutes from Da Paolo to Parc de la Grange. Find a spot on the south side of the park facing west. The park is just along the lake promenade, making it the perfect vantage point.

  3. 17:15

    Parc de la Grange

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light starts about an hour before, but the moment of sunset at 17:15 is the peak of the experience.

  4. 17:30

    Da Paolo

Head back to Da Paolo for dinner. Since it is open until 23:00, you can stay and enjoy the evening atmosphere after the light fades.

Local tip

Check the route back from the park if you need to return to the food spot, as the walk is short but direction matters in the dark.
