Gespeg Mi'kmaq Interpretive Site
Start at the Gespeg Mi'kmaq Interpretive Site. The volunteers are on hand to lead guided tours through the reconstructed village and exhibits. Arriving early allows you to absorb the history of the Mi'kmaq people and the local First Nations history before the evening light changes. Check that it is mid-June through mid-October, as that is when the site is open daily from 9AM to 5PM.
15:02
Walk south-southeast for 47 minutes to reach the Belvédère. This is your viewing spot. Position yourself to face the west-southwest, where the sun will set. The site is quiet and offers a clear view of the horizon.
15:49
Watch the sunset. The sky will darken as the sun disappears toward the west-southwest. Stay for a few minutes to let your eyes adjust to the twilight.
