End your hike at the Fox Glacier South Side Viewpoint. It is a short walk from your main anchor and offers a clear perspective of the southern face.

- The track can be cumbersome. Ensure you have balance for slick rocks and small streams.
- Do not proceed past the barriers at the terminal face of the glacier.
