Riordan Mansion State Historic Park
Walk 20 minutes southwest to Riordan Mansion State Historic Park. Arrive as the golden light begins to fade. The Arts and Crafts style house looks striking in the low sun. Guided tours run at the top of the hour, but you can simply admire the exterior and the grounds as the sky changes color.

Bookmans Entertainment Exchange
Head to Bookmans Entertainment Exchange, just a 3-minute walk from the mansion. It is open until 22:00, so you can browse the used books and CDs while the evening cools down. The onsite café is a nice place to rest your feet.
Local tip
Riordan Mansion tours require reservations. If you want a guided tour, book ahead. If not, the exterior and park are free to enjoy.
