Walk 13 minutes north to Fall River Heritage State Park. This 8.5-acre spot hugs the Taunton River and overlooks Battleship Cove. It is the perfect vantage point to watch the sun set toward the west. The views are relaxing and the space is open enough to avoid crowds.
