Walk 12 minutes NW to the Burgberg garden. Climb to the viewpoint at the upper end for the best view over the city. The sun sets toward the WSW, giving you a clear line of sight for the golden hour and sunset.

Head to Steinbach Bräu for dinner and a drink. It is hidden in the alleys of the northern part of the city, so tourists cannot easily find it. Enjoy traditional German food with fresh beer from their microbrewery. The kitchen closes at 21:45, so arrive promptly after dark.

The kitchen at Steinbach Bräu stops serving food at 21:45. Since sunset is at 16:43, you have a comfortable window to dine, but do not linger too long at the table if you want a full meal.
