Timeline
15:05
Grab a tea and a slice of cake at the Erlanger Teehaus. The comfortable rooms are perfect for settling in and watching the afternoon light shift.
15:25
Walk nine minutes to the Botanical Garden. Head straight for the greenhouses to see the tropical plants illuminated by the low, golden sun. The artificial Neischl-Grotte is a nice detour if it is open.
15:50
Stand in the garden as the golden light peaks. The contrast between the warm sunlight and the cool glass of the greenhouses creates a striking atmosphere. Stay for the transition as the light fades.
16:20
End the evening with dinner at Samui Asia Lounge, just a six-minute walk from the garden. The Thai offerings are among the best in town, and the restaurant stays open late enough to digest your cake and walk.
