Walk to Aero Beach. The 5000 Ush entry fee gets you access to the sand and the unusual plane wrecks scattered along the shore. Arrive with an hour to spare to find a good spot facing the water.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The sky turns golden and the light fades over Lake Victoria. The plane wrecks take on a stark, interesting silhouette against the darkening water.

Head to Phaze 3 for dinner. It is arguably Entebbe's best food, serving western and Indian dishes. The deck overlooks the lake, extending the evening view. Try the daily pot pie and finish with their great coffee.

Phaze 3 only accepts cash and Visa cards. Anna's Corner is open until 22:00 if you want to linger longer before the beach.
