Timeline
14:40
Stop at Nauticus for a whisky or cocktail. The dark panelling and nautical theme set the mood before the sun goes down.
15:24
Walk west to Leith Links. Find a spot on the grass in the western section to wait for the light to change.
16:06
Move to the Leith Links Memorial Cairn. This spot faces west, giving you a clear, unobstructed view of the sunset over the Firth of Forth.
17:10
Head to Fishers for dinner. The quality seafood in the old watchtower is a perfect way to warm up after the chill of the evening sky.
Local tip
Nauticus closes at 24:00 on Sundays and Mondays, so check the route if you are visiting then. The Cairn is a short four-minute walk from the park anchor, making it easy to time your arrival.
