Walk eight minutes northeast to The Murrayfield pub. Order a drink and settle in. The pub has screens for sport, but right now you just want a seat facing the stadium.

The golden light starts at 15:00. Look out toward the southwest where the sun is setting. The stadium stands will catch the warm glow, creating a striking contrast against the sky.

Stay for a snack. The pub serves decent all-day grub, perfect for lingering as the light fades.
Local tip
The pub is open Wednesday to Sunday from 12:00 to 22:00. Make sure you arrive before the golden light hits if you want the best seat.
