Timeline
09:30
Start your day at Marwell Activity Centre. Arrive right at 09:30 when it opens to beat the crowds. Choose from aerial obstacle courses, archery, clay-pigeon shooting, or quad biking. All sessions last 90 minutes and are suitable for adults and children aged 8 and over. You can also buy a day pass for fishing on the resort's lake if you prefer something calmer.
11:10
Walk 13 minutes north to Marwell Zoological Park. This is a great spot for a mid-afternoon stroll. The park is home to over 200 rare and endangered species, and the grounds include Marwell Hall. It is a peaceful place to see wildlife and enjoy the woodland setting.
12:15
Head to Stoke Park Wood. It is a 55-minute walk from the activity centre, but the walk is worth it for the scenery. The woodland offers excellent paths for walking and cycling. There is a car park if you need to park, or you can walk from the previous stop if you prefer.
Local tip
The activity centre is open daily from 09:30 to 17:30. Book your sessions in advance as they can fill up quickly. Marwell Zoological Park is a short walk away and offers a different kind of nature experience with its animal collections.
