    Maruyasu

Grab a pre-dinner bite at Maruyasu. The Japanese restaurant is clean, comfortable, and serves delicious food without breaking the bank. It is open until 20:00, so you have plenty of time before the sun goes down.

  2. 16:15

    Forum Freies Theater

Head to the Forum Freies Theater. This is your anchor point. From here, it is a 21-minute walk west to the Rhine Tower. Use this time to orient yourself in the city centre before making the trek to the river.

  3. 16:33

    Rheinturm

Walk 21 minutes west to the Rheinturm. The 240-m-high Rhine Tower offers a 360-degree view from its restaurant at 172 m. While the food is overpriced, the view is worth the trip. Arrive just in time to see the sun setting toward the SW.

  4. 17:09

    Pizzeria Am Medienhafen

After the view, walk 7 minutes to Pizzeria Am Medienhafen in the Media Harbour. The modern ambience and friendly owners make it a perfect spot to digest your meal and the scenery. The pizzas are very good.

Local tip

The walk from the theatre to the tower takes 21 minutes. If you prefer a quicker route, check the local transport options. The Media Harbour is a short walk west from the tower, making it a natural end to your evening.
