Walk to the Glenfalloch Woodland Garden. From here, you will see the sun rise directly behind Larnach Castle. This alignment only happens between 5 May and 11 May, and again from 3 Aug to 9 Aug.

Head back to the main castle area for breakfast or coffee. The castle and gardens are open from 9 AM to 5 PM from April to September, and from 9 AM to 7 PM from October to March. If visiting outside these windows, check the route for other options.

The alignment is precise. Arrive at least 30 minutes before sunrise to secure a good spot in the woodland garden without rushing.
