Enter The Green Planet. The climate-controlled bio-dome offers a cool, humid escape with over 3,000 plants and animals. It is quiet and shaded, a perfect way to spend the late afternoon before the heat of the day fully fades.
17:05
Walk six minutes to L’eto. Grab a drink or a light bite here. The venue opens at 09:00 on Fridays through Sundays, so it is ready for you. Sit outside if the weather allows, or find a table inside to rest your legs after the zoo walk.
17:20
Head to Burj Park. It is a 30-minute walk southeast from your current position. The park surrounds the base of the Burj Khalifa and offers open views. Arrive here with 30 minutes to spare to find a good spot facing west.
17:50
Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light starts at 17:17, bathing the skyline in warm tones. The contrast between the darkening sky and the lit-up Burj Khalifa is at its peak right as the sun dips below the horizon.
18:20
End your evening at Sarabeth's City Walk. Walk back 8 minutes to the City Walk area. This restaurant is open until 22:00, giving you plenty of time to enjoy a proper dinner after the spectacle. The ambiance is relaxed and the service is attentive.
Local tip
The walk between The Green Planet and Burj Park is long (30 minutes). Use this time to stretch your legs and enjoy the transition from the enclosed rainforest to the open urban park. If you prefer a shorter walk, consider ending at one of the cafes in City Walk instead of Burj Park, but you will miss the sunset view.
