    At.Mosphere Burj Khalifa

    Stop at At.Mosphere Burj Khalifa for a pre-sunset drink. The café opens at 08:00, so you have plenty of time to settle in and watch the late afternoon light change over the city.

    Sky Views Dubai

    Head to Sky Views Dubai. Take the glass floor walk and the slide. Being high up on the 53rd floor, you will get a clear, unobstructed view of the sun setting toward the WSW.

  3. 18:00

    The Dubai Mall

    Walk down to The Dubai Mall. It is right next door to the Burj Khalifa and open until 23:00 on weekdays. Use this time to escape the heat and find a place for dinner or to browse the shops.

Local tip

The sun sets toward the WSW in January, so position yourself on the observation deck to catch the final light. The Dubai Mall is open late, making it a safe and easy end to the evening.
