Walk from the Panometer to Floras Garten, a beer garden located just 3 minutes away in Großer Garten. It is open daily from 11:00 to 22:00, making it the perfect spot for a relaxed lunch or a drink in the shade. The short walk takes you from the industrial architecture into Dresden's "green lung."

Spend the rest of your time wandering through Großer Garten. This large botanical garden is recommended for relaxing and sports, with rollerbladers common on the paths. You can stroll through the greenery and enjoy the quiet atmosphere away from the city center.
Local tip
The Panometer is closed on Mondays. If you are visiting on a weekday, aim for Tuesday through Sunday. Floras Garten is open every day, so it is a reliable fallback for lunch regardless of the day.
