Timeline
15:50
Grab a quick bite at City Center Doha. It is the largest shopping centre in Qatar and offers a diverse range of food options if you need a pre-sunset snack.
16:06
Walk to Msheireb Enrichment Centre. This small museum features photographs and artifacts that illustrate Doha's historic development from a fishing town to a modern city. The exhibit is sponsored by the developer of the Msheireb project near Souq Waqif. Check the route if you are not sure how to get there.
17:05
Find a spot near the entrance or steps of Msheireb Enrichment Centre to watch the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, providing a clear view of the day ending over the city.
17:35
End the evening at The Gate Shopping Center. It has 280 shops with mostly luxury goods, and you can visit Jones the Grocer bistro for a relaxed finish to the night.
Local tip
The museum is open until 20:30 on weekdays, so you have plenty of time to explore after the sunset.
