    Find a quiet spot near the monastery entrance with a view of the WSW horizon. The yellowish polished stone of the small 12th-13th century church will catch the last warm light before the sun disappears.

    Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The golden light fades quickly after 17:56, leaving the dome and the few preserved polished slabs in shadow.

    Stay a moment longer in the twilight. The surrounding constructions to the south of the monument remain visible in the fading light.
