Stand at the Colorado State Capitol. The view looks out over Denver as the sun sets. Look for the inscription "One Mile Above Sea Level" on the steps. The sun sets toward the WSW, aligning perfectly with the view from the south side of the building.

Stroll to The Closing Era, a bronze sculpture on the east side of the Capitol. It is a quiet moment to reflect on the history of the area before heading back.
