Walk eight minutes ENE to the Colorado State Capitol. Find the inscription 'One Mile Above Sea Level' engraved on the wall. Stand there as the golden light hits the dome and the cityscape, looking WNW toward the museum and the setting sun.

Head back toward the museum area for dinner. Levən Deli is just a three-minute walk from the Capitol vicinity. If it is still open (until 19:00 on weekdays), enjoy their excellent baked goods or sandwiches. If the lunch menu has ended, the deli counter still serves fresh items.

The walk from the Capitol to Levən Deli is short, but ensure you time your visit so the deli is still serving. On weekends, Levən closes at 16:00, so this plan works best Monday through Friday or if you are willing to grab a drink elsewhere after the moment.
