Timeline
16:46
Stop at Pasar Badung for a snack. The market is open and bustling, offering a lively introduction to local flavors before the quiet of the museum grounds.
17:16
Walk to the Bali Museum. Wander through the pavilions and gardens. The late afternoon light is gentle, and the crowds have thinned, making it easy to appreciate the architecture and history.
18:16
Head to Gunung Agung Park. It is located to the west of the museum, directly in the line of sight for the setting sun. Find a spot on the grass as the sky turns gold and the sun sinks toward the west.
19:01
End the evening at Umah VG. It is a short walk back toward the center. The restaurant is open until 18:00 on weekdays or 18:00 on Sundays (April 15 is a Wednesday), so you can catch the last seating for dinner or stay for a drink if they have evening service. If you prefer a café atmosphere, Voltvet is open until 23:00.
Local tip
Check the route from Gunung Agung Park back to Umah VG or Voltvet. The walk is short, but you will be transitioning from the park to the street level.
