Timeline

  1. 09:30

    Bahá'í Lotus Temple

Arrive at the Bahá'í Lotus Temple as it opens. The gardens are well-landscaped, and the architecture is best appreciated in the morning light before the site gets busy. Note that the interior is minimal, so spend your time looking at the structure and the surrounding ponds.

  2. 11:00

    Sona Dhaba

Walk 11 minutes to Sona Dhaba for lunch. It is a reliable spot for Punjabi cuisine and stays open late, making it a solid choice for a midday meal after your temple visit.

  3. 11:30

    Aastha Kunj

Take a short 5-minute walk to Aastha Kunj. This small park offers a quiet place to sit and digest your meal, providing a gentle contrast to the busy streets and the temple's grandeur.

Local tip

The temple is closed on Mondays. If you are visiting on that day, plan for Tuesday or later in the week. The park around the temple is mostly off-limits, so keep to the designated paths.
