Grab a bite at Duck City Bistro. The menu changes frequently, so you will always find something fresh. This is a good spot to start before heading to the river, as it is close by.
14:30
Walk down to the Quad City Botanical Center. It sits right next to the Mississippi River. You can wander through the gardens and enjoy the view of the water without the crowds of the main park areas.
15:15
Head over to LeClaire Park. This is the prime spot to watch the river traffic. You can stroll along the riverbank and watch bald eagles fish in the winter or see barges working the channel during the day.
15:50
End your walk at Front Street Brewery. It is the oldest brew pub in Iowa. The vibe is relaxed, and you can enjoy a locally brewed beer and some pub food to cap off the afternoon.
Local tip
LeClaire Park is the best place to see the river activity. If you want to see bald eagles, visit in the winter. For a quieter experience with the river view, the Quad City Botanical Center is less crowded.
