Timeline

  1. 15:57

    Emeis Golf Course

Start at Emeis Golf Course. Walk the gently rolling hills and take in the 155-acre expanse. It is the perfect place to clear your head before the main event.

  2. 16:27

    Petersen Park

Walk 32 minutes east to Petersen Park. There are no shops here, so bring a snack or drink from a local store before you arrive. Find a quiet spot on the grass to rest.

  3. 16:57

    Emeis Golf Course

Return to Emeis Golf Course for the sunset. The sun sets toward the WSW, casting long shadows across the fairways and hills. This is the key moment to watch the light fade.

  4. 17:42

    Koenig Park

End your evening at Koenig Park. It is a 64-minute walk from the anchor, but the transition from the open golf course to the park offers a calm finish to the day. Check the route carefully as it is a longer walk.

Local tip

The walk to Koenig Park is long. If you prefer a shorter finish, stay at Petersen Park or Emeis Golf Course after sunset. There are no food or drink shops in the immediate vicinity of these parks, so plan your sustenance beforehand.
