Walk six minutes to the Manhakcheonbong Observatory at 만천하 스카이워크. Step onto the three-finger, 15-meter-long glass platform. The horseshoe shape frames the panoramic view of the city and the Lotus Blossom Pedestal in the distance.

Watch the sun set toward the WSW. The sky turns gold as the light fades over the Namhan river view. The observatory closes at 17:00, so this is your last chance to be inside as the sky darkens.

End the evening with a short four-minute walk to 단양수양개생태공원. The park is open and offers a quiet space to digest the view and the day.
Local tip
The observatory closes at 17:00. If you arrive after sunset on 15 January, you will miss the interior access, so time your drink and walk carefully.
