Grab a warm tofu dish at Dodam Sambonga Cauldron Hand Tofu. The restaurant is inside the Danyang Shooting Theme Park complex, so you can enjoy the view while you eat before heading to the cave.

Walk from the Shooting Theme Park area to Gosu Cave. Cross the bridge, turn left, and walk 10 minutes along the highway to reach the entrance. Enter the 1.7 km of twisting limestone caverns to see the metal walkways and subdued lighting.

Stand inside the main caverns as the golden light hits the entrance. The natural light filters through the limestone, highlighting the texture of the walls. This is the peak moment for the experience.

Head back out and walk to the Danyang Shooting Theme Park viewing area. It is a short walk from the cave. Use this time to stretch your legs and look back at the landscape as the light fades.
Local tip
Gosu Cave can be narrow and claustrophobic. If you feel confined, you can turn back at any point. The walk from the Shooting Theme Park to the cave is along a highway, so stay alert.
Check before you go
- Gosu Cave closes at 17:00. If you arrive after sunset (17:32 in winter), the cave will be closed. Plan to be inside during the golden light period (16:53) and exit before closing.
- Dodam Sambonga Cauldron Hand Tofu closes at 17:00. Ensure you finish your meal with enough time to walk to the cave.
